MEN OF PURPOSE
Six years ago the Lord gave me a vision. I saw myself encouraging and helping men with the help of the Holy Spirit. The men began to walk into their prophetic destiny and discover their true purpose in Christ who is the God of many chances. For the glory and honor of God we have been able to see that vision come to pass here at "Rock of Refuge".
Today, Men of Purpose, is a ministry that allows men to see and understand their true value, which the Lord placed into them since before the foundation of the earth.
By the power of God we are witnessing the lives of ex-drug dealers, drug users, murderers, gang members and pimps be transformed, restored and filled with the hope that only Jesus can give. Men that abandoned their homes are returning back to their rightful place and God is truly glorifying himself in their lives and in the lives of their families.
I was a drug addict and an alcoholic. I was addicted to pornography which ended up leading to an addiction to masturbation. I was at an all time low in my life and I was trying to fill a void that only God would later fill. When I accepted Jesus into my life, it was there that God showed me through his grace, mercy and love the purpose I had in him and that void, He began to fill.
Ten years later, I am a father to a beautiful little girl and a handsome son. The husband to a wonderful wife and if that isn't enough he granted me the privilege and honor to pastor and shepherd a blessed congregation in the same neighborhood that I grew up in. Isn't it true when the bible states that "God is no respector of persons"?
What he did in my life he can certainly do in yours.....Come and join us every third Friday of the month at 7:30pm for a Holy Ghost, fun filled evening where we talk about every issue that is brought up. We do not hide a topic or subject, if you are going through it then we need to talk about it! I pray that I will see you soon......
